As a Pharmacy Intern, you’ll assist in medication preparation, compounding, inventory management, and distribution across inpatient, retail, specialty, or ambulatory settings. You’ll play a key role in supporting safe and accurate medication practices while gaining valuable hands-on experience in both clinical and administrative functions — all under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Prepare and compound sterile and non-sterile products according to USP and Board of Pharmacy standards.
Utilize pharmacy automation systems for safe and efficient medication distribution.
Manage controlled substances, perform inventory counts, and identify discrepancies.
Conduct medication area inspections and maintain accurate records.
Assist with clinical and administrative pharmacy functions as assigned.
Education & Experience
Currently enrolled in an accredited College of Pharmacy
Licensure & Certifications
Active Pharmacist Intern License in good standing within the state of employment
