The Manager, Clinic Operations is expected to provide visionary leadership to maximize the effectiveness of all service delivery systems, financial performance. Engages staff and cultivatea a care center culture that prioritizes humankindness and patient-centric care consistent with Dignity Health and the medical group's "way" and culture. Effectively manages all operational aspects of the assigned care center(s). Works closely with staff and providers to ensure that all fiduciary and care center goals are met. Proactively determines workload priorities through planning, coordination and managing staff and providers to meet the care center's administrative, operational and support requirements. This position may have access to third party credit card information and transactional systems (cash registers, point of sale devices, applications supporting credit card transactions, and reports or other documents containing credit card information) from single transactions or a single card at a time. This position will also have access to patient protected health information (PHI). The Manager, Clinic Operations has a responsibility to safeguard patient health and financial information
Minimum Qualifications:
3 years of healthcare management experience
Ability to demonstrate Dignity Health's values and exercise tact and diplomacy in dealing with others.
Strong leadership and management skills to provide planning, coordination and direction to staff and ability to propose innovative solutions to challenges. Ability to effectively direct and motivate others.
Planning, problem-solving and critical thinking skills to anticipate, avert, or resolve issues in staffing, scheduling and task allocation.
Ability to be flexible to maintain continuity of programs while considering individual staff needs and goals.
Ability to work effectively and independently under pressure with a minimum of direction.
Ability to understand and implement the requirements of providing patient care within a highly regulated and constantly changing environment.
Ability to understand health care issues within a broad perspective, and to apply these issues to the care center setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous out-patient practice & healthcare management experience
Previous management experience in a union environment
Prior managed care or integrated delivery systems experience
