Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.

 

Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. Directs, supervises, delivers and evaluates patient care through the use of the nursing process. Maintains the standards of nursing care and practices consistent with the policies and procedures of the hospital and the Nursing Dept. Provides care primarily to the adult and geriatric populations, however, may care for selected pediatric patients as required.

 

This position is represented by CNA and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • 1-3 years of MedSurg/Tele experience
  • California Registered Nurse License (RN)
  • Current BLS (AHA required) within 30 days of employment
  • Current AHA ACLS certification (CT ACLS) within 30 days of employment
  • NIHSS Stroke Certification
  • Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
