Job Summary and Responsibilities

The Transition RN Fellowship at Northridge Hospital Medical Center prepares and supports experienced nurses as they enter into a specialty unit.  Our next RN Transition Fellowship program start date will begin March 16th, 2026. Candidates must have at least 2 Years of RN Work Experience to be eligible for this program.  Positions are limited and early application is encouraged. Application period is open ​N​ovember 1st 202​5 through​ November 1​0th​, 2025 at 11:59PM (ONLY).

Job Requirements

 

  • Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required. 
  • Graduate of Accredited RN school of Nursing required.
  • Completion of an approved Basic Arrhythmia course prior to the start of the transition program (unless otherwise agreed upon by Unit Director and Education department to complete during the program)
  • Registered Nurse with current CA License and current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider card required.
  • ACLS and PALS- American Heart Association
  • Successful completion of a formal Dignity Health interview process; the overall scoring of the interview consensus will be taken into consideration in determining the selection of candidate(s).
  • Current employees: Must be in good standing with no disciplinary actions within the past twelve(12) months and with at least a "Meets" standards on the last 2 performance evaluations.
