  • Strategic Planning & Management: Lead the development and deployment of strategies and initiatives to drive growth, offering thought leadership in integration planning, local strategic analysis, and strategic intelligence. Responsible for orchestrating the annual strategic planning process and ensuring seamless integration and realization of market-based IDNs, aligning with local dynamics and strategy.
  • Partnerships & Development: Evaluate and lead growth opportunities for regional partnerships and ventures, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic collaborations, from initial identification of needs to post-transaction engagement and management.
  • Physician Alignment & Workforce Development: Develop and implement strategies to align physicians with our integrated delivery network in close collaboration with the Physician Enterprise. This includes leading physician and provider workforce development plans, independent physician recruitment, and joint venture integration.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a highly collaborative partner with National Strategy, M&A/M&A/ M&A/Partnerships, Payer Strategy, Physician Enterprise, Mission Services, Community Health, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure holistic strategic alignment and execution.
  • Performance & Measurement: Continuously measure strategic progress, providing insightful analyses and recommendations to leadership to inform decision-making, refine initiatives, and achieve superior strategic growth.
  • Service Line & COE Strategy: Oversee the development of robust service line and Center of Excellence strategies, including comprehensive planning, rationalization, and integration efforts.
  • Payer Strategy Leadership: Partner with managed care in the development of sophisticated payer strategies, encompassing fee-for-service, value-based care, and direct-to-employer models.
