Manager BI analytics leads the identification, execution, and advancement of analytics strategy through the discovery, development, and implementation of leading-edge healthcare analytics and information delivery products that provide actionable business insights to frontline leaders and functional staff. The manager cultivates and aligns talent and resources to advance enterprise and local analytics needs by leveraging data and using statistical and logical analysis to achieve strategic objectives and improve business performance.
Work collaboratively with internal and external customers to identify opportunities that add value and deliver actionable insights using advanced analytics capabilities.
Use healthcare business knowledge and expertise to Integrate disparate data sets, conduct exploratory analysis, and produce actionable insights that help frontline leaders in operational performance improvements.
Manage the end-to-end development and delivery of analytics products.
Manage a team that is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of predictive models that enhance decision-making and drive operational outcomes
Advance data visualization and analytics capabilities that can be used to communicate findings from complex analyses.
Storyboard, prototype, stress test, and articulate the need for advanced analytics to key decision-makers.
Serve as an in-house health care analytics expert to serve as mentor and developer of data science skills and techniques across the information delivery team.
Commit to continued professional growth and development and direct the ongoing growth and development of analytics staff.
Collaborate with product management team, internal product development team, and operations team to ensure highly operational products are developed and delivered with high quality, reliability, and timeliness.
Ensure safety and confidentiality of data and analytics systems by adhering to the organizations information security policies.
Pro-actively manage and communicate product roadmap by prioritizing and managing delivery cycles.
Educaiton & Experience
Bachelors Degree - Computer Science, Statistics, or related technical field.
10+ years' experience in Data warehouse and Business Intelligence environments with expertise in developing and deploying analytics, advanced analytics and information delivery products required
2-3 Years’ experience in healthcare analytics leadership role with expertise in using statistical and logical analysis to predict, forecast key drivers that help hospital operational improvements and transformation required
