The Imaging Department at St. Anthony Summit Hospital runs with 30-35 certified imaging technologists and encompasses seven different modalities including: CT, MRI, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Mammography, DEXA, Echo and soon we’ll be expanding to include a Cardiac CT program. We all operate as a unified team, support each other, and encourage cross-training. As a smaller hospital, we also collaborate closely with all other departments to seamlessly to ensure exceptional patient care. We are looking for individuals who can enhance our culture of care, prioritize the patient above all else, strive for high quality, and prioritize safety.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

$400/month Summit County housing stipend available for full time residents of Summit, Park, Eagle, Grand, Clear Creek, Lake, and Chaffee Counties.

As a CT Technologist (CT Tech) in Frisco Colorado, you provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department and thoughtful care to your community.

 

In this Diagnostic Computed TomographyTechnologist (CT Tech) role, you will: 

  • Perform high-quality images and exams on patients while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs.
  • Follow standards of safe radiation practice.
  • Demonstrate leadership abilities and be a role model for other associate technologists.
  • Act as a clinical resource to unit personnel and ensure current standards of practice for the unit.
  • Working closely with physicians or other prescribing medical professionals.
  • Partnering with patients to describe what will happen during the CT scans.
  • Assisting in positioning patients properly to take the necessary images.
  • Examining images to ensure they’re readable for the physicians/prescribing medical professionals.

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • One year of related experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate’s Degree strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • ARRT(CT), ARRT(N), ARRT(T) or CNMT registry required or State CT registry ARRT(R) with CT training required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association required

Physical Requirments Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
