At Holy Cross Hospital – Salt Lake, the Cardiovascular Services department is made up of the Cardiac Cath Lab, Echocardiography, EKG and Cardiac Rehab. The patient population is a combination of lower income, underserved population and outreach rural communities surrounding Salt Lake City, including Idaho, Wyoming, and Nevada. Cardiology is a tight knit group that considers each other family. There is strong bond within the staff and physicians and an overarching sense of teamwork, pride and loyalty on this team. The environment on this team is fast paced, high acuity care with a culture of safety, family, and collaboration. Effectively assist physicians in performing a variety of highly specialized Cardiovascular procedures including, but not limited to, diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operation (IABP), and electrophysiology studies.
