The Oncology department at St. Mary-Corwin Hospital is a 12-bed unit comprised of oncology and surgical patients. Nurses care for many types of cancer patients and post-surgical patients. Nurses hang chemotherapy bags and empathize with the families of these patients. Our mission is to treat our patients with the utmost compassion, respect and integrity through all we do. Our team works very well together, and we are always willing to train new nurses to be the best they can be. We have several educational opportunities for this department. We look for candidates with a kind heart and compassion, assuring that not only the patient but their families are part of the patient’s treatment plan and care.
