Facilitates decision making in performance improvement, peer review and medical staff physician reappointment by providing information tracking, trending and reporting data on patient care related concerns. Creates methods to extract data from various collection points and bring them into a coherent tool for analysis by hospital staff. Works in a team environment to design, build data fields to support various reporting and research initiatives. Responsible for clinical database management, training and utilization of various databases used to support performance improvement activities.
Complex, abstract problem solving capabilities to maintain system-wide functions. Understanding of the complexities of the health care environment. Comfortable as a team member and informational leader. Demonstrated ability to manage, develop, plan and deliver projects with minimal direction.
