Job Summary and Responsibilities

In keeping with the Marian Medical Center philosophy, the PACU RN is an experienced practitioner who demonstrates in-depth knowledge of nursing, patient care and the ability to practice independently at MMC and applicable entities. The PACU RN also serves as a resource person as well as a preceptor. Under minimal supervision, the PACU RN identifies and implements nursing interventions that have less predictable outcomes and evaluate the results of these interventions for a given patient population.

Job Requirements

  • Acute care experience within the last two (2)years.
  • Critical Care experience
  • Current California Registered Nurse License (RN:CA)
  • Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) within 30 days of employment
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of employment
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 30 days of employment
  • BSN preferred
