The Hemodialysis unit has one treatment room where they can provide simultaneous treatment to two patients. If patient's are critically ill or in isolation, their hemodialysis may be done at their bedside on the unit they have been admitted to.

As our Hemodialysis Nurse at St. Francis Medical Center, you are responsible for hemodialysis therapies in both acute and chronic renal failure as prescribed by the Nephrologist and in accordance with CHI Health policies and procedures.
Every day you will provide treatments such as dialysis, managing medications, and maintaining detailed records of patient's treatment along with their medical history.
To be successful in this role, you must have superior communication skills and the ability to focus on their patient's safety and comfort while providing the highest quality of care.
