Job Summary and Responsibilities


This Regional Float position will support our Emergency departments.


Join our Regional Market Float position.  Work in your area of expertise, float to at least 3 of our 5 Omaha Metro locations, and earn 25% hourly differential!  Facility selection and shift preference is available first come, first serve. Apply today!

 

Regional Float locations include the following CHI Health facilities: 

  • Creighton University Medical Center, Bergan Mercy
  • Creighton University Medical Center, University Campus (ED positions only)
  • Immanuel Hospital
  • Lakeside Hospital
  • Lasting Hope Recovery Center (Behavioral positions only)
  • Mercy Hospital - Council Bluffs, IA
  • Midlands Hospital - Papillion

We are offering up to a $10,000 Sign on Bonus and up to $10,000 in Educational Assistance (loan repayment) to new hires who meet the requirements.

 

  • Follow the nursing process which includes: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate. The nursing process is an ongoing process that can end at any stage.
  • Assessment - Demonstrates a systematic,  dynamic way to collect and analyze the following healthcare consumer data including: psychological, physiological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic and lifestyle factors
  • Provide care for patients upon admission to our Hospitals
  • Administer medications accurately and safely
  • Execute accurate and thorough documentation for all patients treated
  • Keep up with Physician orders
  • Have Fun!

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an RN nursing program.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state.
  • 2 years of recent ER experience required.
  • Required upon hire: BLS, ACLS & PALS.
  • NRP Neonatal Resuscitation Program, within 6 months of hire.
  • TNCC Trauma Nurse Core Course, within 12 months of hire.
  • ENPC Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course, within 18 months of hire.
