Patient Care Technician

Our Patient Care Technicians are not just responsible for gathering patient information, assisting with meals, and tending to personal needs. They also hold a crucial position as a bridge between our patients and their care teams, playing a significant role in ensuring our patients' comfort and well-being.This position floats between Chandler Regional Medical Center and Mercy Gilbert Medical Centers.

• Contribute to the assessment of the health status of our patients.
• Communicates pertinent patient information to appropriate members of the treatment team with the direction of the Charge Nurse
• Assist patients/families with light housekeeping duties such as assisting with meals or changing bed linens.
• Report any changes in a patient's condition to the Nurse.

• High school graduate or GED equivalent

Minimum Licensure:

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in good standing valid to work in Arizona

Minimum Certifcation: 

• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support card (AHA BLS)
