The Patient Care Technician works under the supervision of the clinical team and performs duties and direct technical care, requiring knowledge of basic patient care principles and medical terminology.
Minimum:
One year of Hospital ER Experience.
Current BLS (American Heart Association)
Basic Computer Skills
Time Management, Communication Proficiency, 12 lead EKG, venipuncture, IV starts: These skills require an annual competency.
Ability to problem solve and seek assistance from team members when necessary.
