Job Summary and Responsibilities

Committed healthcare provider delivering high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to infants, children, and their families in PEDS and NICU settings. As Staff Nurses, responsibilities include assessing patient and family health problems and resources, taking a leadership role in the development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized nursing care plans. This role provides professional nursing care and critical interventions to a critically ill patient population, requiring the ability to provide service to diverse age groups, from ill children through geriatric patients, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of their functional and developmental needs

 

 

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Graduate of an RN School of Nursing 
  • Current California RN License 
  • Current BLS and PALS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) 
  • Current NRP Certification
  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • One year recent acute care experience
  • Computer literacy preferred
  • Bachelor degree in health related field preferred
