As Staff Nurses, responsibilities include assessing patient and family health problems and resources, taking a leadership role in the development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized nursing care plans. This role provides professional nursing care and critical interventions to a critically ill patient population, requiring the ability to provide service to diverse age groups, from ill children through geriatric patients, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of their functional and developmental needs
