Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on all mechanical and electrical equipment, including but not limited to boilers, emergency generators, HVAC systems, and related equipment, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Conduct periodic tests in compliance with relevant codes and requirements.
Ensure all essential equipment remains in good working condition by diagnosing issues and performing timely repairs to minimize downtime.
Carry out routine repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure continued operation of critical equipment.
Maintain tools and equipment in safe operating condition and keep equipment rooms organized and clean.
Coordinate with administration and other trades to complete projects and work orders as needed.
Building Maintenance Tasks:
Perform various building maintenance tasks, including carpentry, painting, and plumbing.
Assist in maintaining outdoor areas and grounds as necessary.
Assemble and install furniture and may perform locksmith tasks as required.
Record Keeping and Documentation:
Accurately complete and maintain records, logs, and paperwork for assigned equipment.
Document all repairs, orders, and parts/materials used.
File necessary paperwork promptly and accurately.
Equipment Testing and Ordering:
Test and evaluate equipment before placing it into service.
Log results and tag devices for tracking and maintenance purposes.
Deliver or install equipment once confirmed to be in proper working order.
Order and receive parts and materials to support repairs and maintenance work, ensuring correct stock levels are maintained.
Perform any additional related duties as required.
Education/Work Experience Requirements
Requires three years of recent, progressively responsible maintenance-related work experience that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities.
Licensure/Certification
Current electrical, plumbing, or boiler licensure is preferred.
If assigned to Property Maintenance; requires current driver’s license valid in the state of Washington.
