POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs a large variety of routine and complex tasks in the laboratory as requested by supervisor.
This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values.

REQUIRED:

• BLS certification through American Heart Association required.
• Within ninety days of employment obtain the Phlebotomy certification from a course approved by the State of California.
• Able to do work in spite of frequent interruptions Able to read work product of others, computer/ monitor screens, computer printouts High level of concentration and attention to detail
  Interacts appropriately with others.

PREFERRED:

• Any phlebotomist work, hospital experience preferred
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant or Lab Assistant school preferred.
• High School graduate or GED
