CHI Health would love to add an Arrhythmia Tech to our Cardiology Clinic 

 

Hours: Monday-Friday 8a-430p, NO weekends & NO holidays!

Job Summary and Responsibilities

 

  • Schedules and performs EKG’s, cardiac and Holter monitors, patient hook-ups and report generation. 
  • Communicate with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical conditions, and inform physician/provider of significant patient complaints and/or arrhythmia.
  • Prepare and monitor report results for interpretation by physician/provider.  
  • Tracks information on patient charts as needed.  Documents in progress notes for patient communication.
  • Escalate issues to manager or physician/provider.
  • Assures correct charges and diagnosis are marked appropriately for billing.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by management or physician/provider.

 

 

Job Requirements

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required upon hire
  • 1 year previous cardiology experience required
  • Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, conductive system, and ability to interpret cardiac arrhythmias
