Are you a passionate and skilled cook looking to make a real difference?  We're seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our dynamic healthcare team.  In this vital role, you'll play a key part in ensuring our patients, staff, and visitors receive nutritious and delicious meals prepared with the highest standards of safety and quality.

 

What you'll do:

  • Prepare and serve meals using a variety of kitchen equipment (slicers, mixers, ovens, etc.)
  • Adapt recipes to accommodate allergies and special dietary requirements.
  • Maintain meticulous food safety standards, preventing cross-contamination and adhering to temperature guidelines.
  • Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and sanitation practices.
  • Understand and implement menu planning principles to create nutritious and varied meals.

Job Requirements

What you'll bring:

  • At least two years of food service experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
  • Food Handler Permit required upon hire.
  • A passion for food and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
