Penrose - St. Francis Health Services is a full-service, 712-bed acute care provider in Colorado Springs comprising Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Hospital and St. Francis Hospital - Interquest. Job Summary: 

Join our team as a Phlebotomist! This position performs blood collection and specimen processing. Assists with clerical duties as requested. Maintains laboratory collection turnaround time. Performs specimen processing.

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified Phlebotomy Services Techs will bring the following:

 

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma/GED

 

Required Licensure and Certifications: 

  • BLS-CPR within 90 days

 

Preferred Certification:

  • Phlebotomy certificate

 

Preferred Experience: 

  • 3 months phlebotomy in an acute care facility

 

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training: 

  • Excellent customer service and  time management skills
