Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Staff Nurse, you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.

Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.

  • Ensures a professional and responsive atmosphere by greeting patients,visitors, staff, and physicians promptly and courteously. Refers to each individual by name when appropriate.
  • Performs initial assessment utilizing professional nursing knowledge and skills. Appropriately assess for: a. physical & psychosocial emotional needs b. pain level c. barriers to learning d. educational learning needs e. discharge needs f. age related needs g. issues related to assault or abuse
  • Contributes to unit and department problem solving and issue resolution.
  • Communicates effectively and contributes to positive unit and interdepartmental relationships.
  • Maintains a professional attitude, demeanor and appearance, wears prescribed departmental uniform, wears identification name badge.
  • Arrives punctually, takes appropriate time for breaks, uses sick time

Job Requirements

Required
  • Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing and One to two years clinical nursing experience., upon hire and
  • The experience requirement is waived for new Grad Nurses selected for a New Grad Orientation program. and
  • Registered Nurse: CA, upon hire and
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire

Preferred
  • Bachelors Of Science Nursing, upon hire
