St. Thomas More offers 24 hour emergency and trauma services; inpatient acute care; intensive care; labor, delivery, and nursery care; multi-modal diagnostic imaging; inpatient and outpatient surgical services; rehabilitation services; cardiopulmonary rehab and diagnostics; sleep studies; an infusion center; wound care; and a community blood bank. The Medical Surgical department at St. Thomas More Hospital has 25 beds and specializes in general medicine, general surgery, orthopedic surgery and GYN surgery. Our patient mix is general medical patients including varying diagnoses from COPD, pneumonia, to post-op, simple pediatrics (RSV, Flu), telemetry and sepsis. We emphasis teamwork, creativity, and problem solving. We also emphasize compassionate, highly competent, and safe care. All disciplines collaborate to take care of our patients.
