CHI Health St Francis is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Operating Room Nurse to join our dynamic team. As an Operating Room Nurse at CHI Health, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional surgical care to our patients. Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient care during surgical procedures.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients undergoing surgery.
  • Assist the surgical team in various procedures by providing instruments, supplies, and necessary equipment.
  • Maintain a sterile and safe environment in the operating room.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, anesthesia, and overall well-being during surgery.
  • Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-operative care instructions.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies, protocols, and safety regulations.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain comprehensive medical records.

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an RN nursing program, upon hire
  • Registered Nurse: NE, upon hire and
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 5 - months and
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 5 - months
