Job Summary and Responsibilities

Passionate about Patient Care? Become a Mental Health Associate!

 

We're hiring a Mental Health Associate to deliver crucial support to our behavioral health patients. You'll conduct observation rounds, document critical behavioral changes, assist with daily living needs, and ensure unit safety. You'll also utilize crisis prevention techniques and provide trauma-informed care.

 

Shift: Casual Part-Time, Varied

Job Requirements

What You Bring:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • License/Certifications:
    • Valid Oregon Driver's License (with a clean driving record).
    • QMHA (Qualified Mental Health Associate) preferred.
    • BLS for Health Care Providers (within 30 days of hire).
    • First Aid (within 30 days of hire).
    • Food Handler's Card (within 30 days of hire).
  • Experience:
    • Experience with mental health patients in acute care preferred.
    • Experience in a mental health work setting preferred.
    • Training in non-violent crisis intervention preferred.
