Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Endoscopy Tech, you will provide crucial technical support during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and efficiency. Every day you will meticulously prepare, maintain, and sterile process endoscopy equipment, assist physicians during procedures, and prepare rooms while maintaining accurate documentation.

To be successful, you will demonstrate strong technical proficiency, meticulous attention to detail in sterile processing, and collaborative skills in a fast-paced clinical setting, contributing to positive patient outcomes.

Job Requirements

  • Process customer requests to fill requisitions for supplies and equipment. 
  • Take instruction and follow established policy and procedure.
  • Operate automated sterilization/decontamination equipment. 
  • Establish and maintain a satisfactory cooperative working relationship with coworkers and supervisors within the department, facility and region.
  • Use alphabetical and numerical skills to identify surgical and medical equipment and supplies necessary to fill requisitions.
  • Participate in team process of problem identification and resolution to provide quality service to customers.

 

 

Preferred

  • A minimum of six months (1040 hours) of experience in a central service departmentor equivalent education and experience.Previous experience in assisting in directpatient care.
