As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will help Radiologists accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions so they can provide effective patient care.
Every day you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs. You will be expected to transfer and position patients, perform all diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures according to department protocols, provide radiation protection, manage exams in PACS, and ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and education while obtaining pertinent medical history.
To be successful in this role, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses, and be able to perform all associated job functions for a Radiologic Technologist II.
