Job Summary and Responsibilities

The Annual Fund Manager is responsible to develop, execute, steward, and report on all solicitation and fundraising efforts focused on current, past, and prospective new Barrow donors who are not assigned to a Major Gift portfolio. The Annual Fund manager is responsible for meeting/exceeding both the Foundations overall Annual Fund Goals (revenue & donor count) as well as tracking and reporting on individual campaign metrics. The ideal Annual Fund Manager will possess a blend relationship-building with data-driven strategy, ensuring donor engagement is heartfelt, measurablem and aligned with the Foundation's mission.
 
The Annual Fund Manager key focus is on the acquisition and retention of donors through strategic fundraising campaigns such as:
  • Quarterly Fundraising Campaigns (Direct Mail, Email, Digital, Social)
  • Grateful Patient Campaigns
  • Employee Giving Campaigns
  • Tribute/In Memory Campaigns
  • Recapture Campaigns

To be successful, you need proven experience in annual giving, strong analytical and project management skills, and exceptional communication/relationship-building abilities.

  • Delivers a coordinated matrix of communications and solicitation strategies involving email, direct mail, phone/mail, personal / patient visitation and volunteer engagement.
  • Manages fundraising programs specific to the Hospital including Employee Giving, Annual Gift Clubs, donor cultivation and stewarship programs.
  • Supports and undertakes the growth of best practices in supporting areas of gift processing, data management, and donor relations as related to the Annual Giving Program.
  • Ensures that Annual Giving Program is an enabling compoment of successful major and gift planning programs.

  • Bachelors Other in a related field or a combination of education and/or additional job-related experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree. , upon hire and
  • Minimum of (3) three years in progressive fundraising experience. or
  • (2) years experience in sales, marketing or related experience.
