Hello humankindness Dignity Health Medical Group is the employed physician group of Dignity Health Arizona. Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 400 providers and 1200 support staff that cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 subspecialty services. The physicians provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic, research and leadership roles. DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrow's healthcare providers. DHMG has 84 medical school students and approximately 200 residents and fellows throughout the 25 academic programs. Clinical services are complemented with translational and bench research to augment medical education for residents and students. Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Psychologist, you will be a vital clinical professional, providing expert psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to foster healing and well-being.

Every day, you'll conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapies. You'll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, integrate behavioral health into patient care, and meticulously document interventions, upholding high ethical standards.

To be successful, you'll combine profound clinical expertise with exceptional assessment and therapeutic skills, a compassionate, patient-centered approach, and effective teamwork, directly impacting mental health outcomes and quality of life.

  • Reviews patient records to determine the need for evaluation of cognitive, learning, attention, mood, social and behavioral concerns which often accompany craniofacial conditions.
  • Provides clinical assessments, completes psychological evaluation and provides treatment.
  • Prepares reports, test results and recommendations.
  • Provides individual and family psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults with a wide range of craniofacial conditions.
  • May initiate parenting interventions to address adjustment concerns and issues related to having a child with a craniofacial condition.
  • Participates in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborates with other departments and team members.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM

  • Doctorate Of Science PhD in clinical psychology and pre-doctoral internship from an APAapproved program
  • Completion of at least one year of post-doctoral experience in a hospital setting
  • Experience working with chronically ill children, adolescents and families
  • Specific training and experience working with children with craniofacial conditions
  • Experience working with a multidisciplinary team.
