Laboratory Assistant

Following a major expansion, Holy Cross Hospital � Jordan Valley's capacity tripled, now housing 171 beds to serve our growing community. Job description: Works primarily in the lab specimen processing/intake department of the lab. Assist with specimen management and clerical duties as requested. May perform blood collection and specimen processing. If allowed by local/state regulations, may perform waived or mod complex testing, if appropriate for the department organization.

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. required
• BLS-CPR within 90 days
• Lab Assistant Program certification, preferred
• Phlebotomy program certificate, preferred
• 6 months experience in an acute care facility, preferred
• Excellent customer service and  time management skills
