Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Database Professional, you will provide critical expertise in the design, maintenance, and optimization of our databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility for organizational operations.

Every day you will expertly manage database systems, troubleshoot performance issues, implement security measures, and meticulously oversee data backup and recovery processes, supporting vital business functions and decision-making.

To be successful, you will demonstrate outstanding technical proficiency, strong problem-solving skills, and a meticulous, proactive demeanor, contributing to robust data management and seamless information flow.

  • Database Development Management
  • Manages from start to finish the technical database development process for multiple funders.
  • Manages, tracks, and updates the database element crosswalk for 3 different program models.
  • Manages, tracks, and updates database development log.
  • Independently writes and updates database specification documents.
  • Works closely with analysts, developers, and engineers to identify pertinent information for database specifications.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors in public health, health administration, computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent. Masters degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience related to database development processes
  • 1 year experience in functional testing, documenting, and communicating results.
  • Fire Safety certification
  • Experience with Electronic Health Record systems preferred
