Ortho Neuro Charge Nurse

As a Charge Nurse at CHI St Vincent, you'll oversee a department of frontline nurses caring for patients. Your previous experience in acute care adds tremendous value to our nursing team.

You'll advocate for your fellow nurses as you support them in reaching their full potential, which aligns with your department's operational goals and objectives.

CHI St Vincent Hot Springs is a 280 bed faith-based, non-profit, Magnet Accredited facility providing quality health care to patients and communities from all over the State of Arkansas. As the only level II trauma center in the southwest part of the state, CHI St Vincent Hot Springs is the regional referral center for cardiology, trauma, neuro, ortho, oncology and critical care/pulmonary. • Ability to serve as leader and teammate
• Ensure your direct reports and department are positioned to deliver the best care possible to our patients

We are offering a sign on bonus up to $25,000 depending on shift to hires who meet the eligibility requirements. We also offer additional pay for participation in our clinical ladder as well as referral bonuses, excellent benefits, and relocation assistance. 

Required

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing , upon hire
• Registered Nurse: AR, upon hire
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 Days
• 2 years  of acute care experience is required, preferably in a ortho/neuro setting

Preferred

• Bachelors Of Nursing Nursing and Admission to a BSN program within one year or obtaining a Bachelor degree within 2 years of assuming position, upon hire and
• Participation in the Nursing Career Advancement Program
