Job Summary and Responsibilities

This California Heart Center at Glendale Memorial was founded to serve the needs of individuals and families in Glendale and nearby communities. Established in 1992, the cardiovascular program integrates a full range of services including: education, screenings, diagnosis, interventions, surgery, electrophysiology, and rehabilitation. Since its inception, the Heart Center has garnered multiple accolades and Glendale Memorial was among the first in the region to secure accreditation for the Glendale Memorial Chest Pain Center.

 

Our state-of-the-art cardiac cath lab features the Philips Azurion C-arm, which uses the lowest radiation exposure available. This advanced technology minimizes your risk during procedures and isn't available at other hospitals in the area.  Our recovery room solely dedicated to our cardiac patients ensures personalized care and attention. Located conveniently next to the cath lab, our doctors have quick access to monitor your progress and ensure your comfort.

 

This position qualifies for a 10% sign on bonus.

 

  • Provides professional nursing care in accordance with the nursing process and BRN scope of practice. Provides effective,comprehensive evidence based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes.
  • Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient. Collaborates with other disciplines to insure comprehensive, holistic and effective plan of care. Applies knowledge of current practice standards, guidelines, statutes, rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrates accountability for own ethical behavior and supports ethical practice by addressing or escalating issues. Serves as a patient advocate.

Job Requirements

  • 6 months acute care experience.
  • Minimum education as required for RN licensure.
  • Current and Active CA RN license
  • AHA BLS/ACLS

Preferred

 

6 months cath lab experience

Bachelors Of Science Nursing
