Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Supervisor, Home Health, you will supervise a unit of service that collectively contributes to the provision of high-quality patient care, monitoring and supporting the desired outcomes established for your specific area of responsibility.

Every day you will collaborate with other area supervisors as required to support the hospital's role as a community health service provider. You will assist in implementing a unit Quality Management Program consistent with the hospital-wide Performance Improvement Plan, operating the units within financial and productivity guidelines, and setting goals and developing policies that support this objective.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong leadership in home health services, a commitment to quality management, and effective problem-solving skills. Your ability to manage daily operations, foster staff development, ensure financial and productivity adherence, and enhance patient satisfaction within a community health framework will be essential.
  • Collaborates with other area supervisors as required to support the hospital's role as a community health service provider.
  • Assists in implementing a unit Quality Management Program consistent with hospital wide Performance Improvement Plan. Operates the units within the financial and productivity guidelines, setting goals and developing policies that support this objective.
  • Provides for quality services by ensuring that the staff are well trained in the services to be provided.
  • Addresses, escalates or resolves unit issues, including problem resolution related to customer complaints, concerns and suggestions.
