As our Respiratory Care Assistant, you will assist our Respiratory Therapists by maintaining respiratory equipment and supporting patient care procedures directly at the bedside so patients can receive safe, effective, and timely respiratory support, enhancing their comfort and well-being. Your dedication is vital to our mission of compassionate care.
Every day, you will thoughtfully clean, disinfect, and set up a variety of respiratory equipment, ensuring it is ready for safe and effective patient use. You will be expected to precisely test respiratory equipment before delivery to the bedside, assist with select patient care procedures under direct supervision, and work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team to foster a spirit of inclusion.
To be successful in this role, you must possess strong attention to detail, a foundational understanding of respiratory care equipment, and a compassionate, collaborative spirit with a commitment to patient safety and well-being.
