Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Digital Imaging Representative, you will be a central figure ensuring the accuracy, accessibility, and integrity of critical patient and organizational documents through meticulous digital conversion and management. You will play a vital role in streamlining information flow and supporting efficient operations.

Every day, you will expertly prepare, scan, index, and quality-check a high volume of physical documents into digital formats, ensuring clarity, completeness, and accurate linking within electronic systems. You will also troubleshoot basic scanning equipment, adhere strictly to data security, and collaborate with departments for proper document routing and retrieval.

To be successful in this role, you will combine exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality. You will demonstrate proficiency with imaging technologies, a proactive approach to maintaining document integrity, and the ability to thrive in a focused, process-driven environment.

Job Requirements

Required

  • One (1) year of related work experience that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities and one (1) year of work experience in the core job family (or equivalent) OR any combination of experience or education that would demonstrate the ability to perform the duties of the position
  • Knowledge of modern office principles, practices, systems and equipment
  • Knowledge of, or ability to learn, medical terminology and abbreviations
  • Knowledge of, or ability to learn, established procedures relating to inpatient/outpatient admission/registration processes
  • Ability to understand and apply oral and written instructions/guidelines to produce a desired result
  • Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills and diplomacy with sometimes difficult individuals
  • Ability to schedule or re-schedule appointments in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ability to read, understand and communicate in English sufficient to perform the duties of the position
  • Ability to use office equipment and automated systems/applications/software at an acceptable level
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as required by the duties of the position
  • Considerable knowledge of the policies, standards, procedures, processes and tools applicable to the work unit and the function
  • Ability to effectively monitor work flow and develop work schedules
  • Physical Demands Level: Sedentary
