Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.

Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans.   • Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other practitioners as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Monitors medical condition of patients and reports changes to appropriate personnel.
  • Reports abnormal diagnostic data to physician/shift coordinator/supervisor as appropriate.
  • Demonstrates ability to perform technical nursing procedures/skills of patient care competently, seeking assistance when appropriate.
  • Implements patient histories, assesses patients' conditions, and develops individualized care plans for assigned patients. Documents on care plans as patient care evolves, including resolution of problems.
  • Assesses patient educational needs and barriers to learning. Implements multidisciplinary patient education care plan and documents patient teaching.

Position Summary:

 

The Staff RN is a licensed professional care giver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current CA RN licensure
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Current PALS Certification (within 90 days of hire icandidate does not currently have)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Three years acute care experience.
