Nurse Residency Site Coordinator

As our Nurse Residency Site Coordinator, you will play a vital role in shaping the transition-to-practice experience for newly licensed nurses. Working closely with nursing leadership, educators, and residency program partners, you'll help build confident, competent caregivers while fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and professional growth.

Every day you will serve as the on-site leader for the Nurse Residency Program, coordinating educational experiences, supporting nurse residents and preceptors, and partnering with clinical leaders to ensure a consistent, high-quality program that prepares nurses for long-term success.

• Partner with the Nurse Residency Supervisor to maintain and continuously improve program standards, curriculum, processes, and resident progression.
• Plan, implement, evaluate, and enhance the Nurse Residency Program to ensure a successful transition-to-practice experience.
• Facilitate nurse residency classes in collaboration with Clinical Nurse Educators and other interdisciplinary partners.
• Monitor program outcomes, timelines, and key performance metrics while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership, preceptors, educators, and faculty to support resident development, identify learning needs, and ensure a consistent, mission-driven program experience.

Schedule: Monday–Friday with no weekends or holidays, providing a healthy work-life balance while supporting the success of our newest nurses.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in the acute care setting

Required Licensure and Certifications:

• Current license as RN in Nebraska, Iowa or multi-state compact license
• Basic Life Support (BLS or BLS instructor) is required upon hire through the American Heart Association
