As our Mammo Technologist, you will play a critical role in early breast cancer detection and women's health within our state-of-the-art imaging facility. You will be responsible for performing high-quality mammography and other breast imaging procedures, utilizing advanced CAD systems and mammography equipment in various settings, including mobile units.
Every day you will meticulously position patients for mammograms, update patient history files, and accurately document examination details, including technique factors and billing procedures. You will ensure proper radiation safety practices for patients and staff, utilize appropriate protective devices, and maintain equipment in optimal operating order.
To be successful in this role, you will be a graduate of an approved Radiological Technology Program. You must hold current licensure as a Medical Radiographer (MRAD:AZ) and Mammography Radiology Tech (MAMMRAD:AZ), along with ARRT certification in Mammography (RTM). A minimum of three years of mammography experience is required, along with a strong familiarity with ACR, FDA, and state mammography standards.
