Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.

Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You will be expected to collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.

  • Performs assessment/data collection in an ongoing systematic manner, focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and cognitive status; also nutrition, pain, patient/family education, family involvement, and patient advocacy.
  • Formulates a goal-directed plan of care that is prioritized and based on determined nursing diagnosis and patient outcomes.
  • Implements care in a thorough, skillful, and consistent manner.
  • Establishes priorities for patient care based on essential patient needs and available unit resources of time, personnel, equipment, and supplies.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of care given by health care team members.
  • Effectively communicate with patients, staff, and providers.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Associate Degree of Nursing 

  • One (1) year of general RN care experience

  • Valid compact state or Arizona RN license

  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - AHA ACLS

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider - AHA BLS

  • American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support - AHA PALS

  • Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills by passing EKG test or completing basic EKG class/modules within six months of the position

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing 

  • Two (2) years of medical/surgical, progressive care, or critical care experience
