What You'll Do:
• Utilize ultrasound equipment to capture detailed, high-quality images of blood, organs, tissues, bodily masses, and unborn fetuses, providing vital diagnostic data.
• Manage patient interactions from start to finish—explaining procedures, preparing patients for scans, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout.
• Leverage your expert judgment and technical acumen to adjust equipment settings, optimize patient positioning, and produce crystal-clear diagnostic images.
• Independently evaluate images for potential pathologies and communicate preliminary findings to Physicians.
• Operate a variety of diagnostic ultrasound machines in line with AIUM standards and department protocols, demonstrating autonomy and problem-solving prowess.
• Perform quality assurance tests, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting, ensuring equipment is always in peak condition.
• Stay ahead of the curve by researching and recommending new ultrasound products and technologies that propel our department’s excellence.
What you bring:
To excel in this role, you will be a self-reliant professional with strong decision-making skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Proficiency in advanced imaging technology, with OBGYN expertise particularly advantageous for capturing vital prenatal and obstetric scans . Your advanced technical proficiency and proven ability to work autonomously will be essential to delivering high-quality diagnostic support and patient care.
