Location: Glenwood, IA - Family Medicine

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8a-430p (32hrs a week)

What You'll Be Doing:

• You'll be the first friendly face our patients see, greeting them with a warm welcome, prepping them for their visit, taking vital signs (you're a pro at blood pressure!), and getting them comfy in the exam room.
• You'll be our providers' right hand, assisting with exams, and making sure they have everything they need to work their magic.
• You'll expertly draw blood, collect specimens, and process them with meticulous accuracy. 
• Administering medications (under supervision, of course!), giving injections, and reviewing instructions with patients will be second nature to you.

**CHI Health requires that all Certified Medical Assistants / Medical Assistants MUST be a graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)
• Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid 
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
