Established by the Sisters of the St. Francis in 1924, CHI Health Good Samaritan is a 268-bed regional referral center in Kearney, Neb. At CHI Health Good Samaritan, you’ll find an advanced level trauma center that also offers AirCare emergency helicopter transport and an ambulance program providing long distance and local 911 service. Among our many other services are cardiac care including open-heart surgery, a level II neonatal intensive care unit, a nationally accredited cancer center, comprehensive neurosurgery, advanced orthopedic program, and inpatient and outpatient mental health services at our free-standing Richard Young Behavioral Health facility.
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will provide essential support to pharmacists, ensuring the accurate and efficient preparation and dispensing of medications to patients.Every day you will expertly process prescriptions, compound medications, manage inventory, and meticulously assist patients with their inquiries, all while adhering to strict safety and regulatory guidelines.To be successful, you will demonstrate outstanding attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a professional, patient-focused demeanor, contributing to safe medication practices and excellent patient care.
Registered/licensed Pharmacy Tech in the State of NE (https://dhhs.ne.gov/licensure/pages/pharmacy-technician.aspx) required prior to start date.
Active CPT-EXCPT or CPT-PTCB or CPHT certification in good standing is required after one year from the registration/licensure date.
