Perioperative Services Nursing Director
As part of the Dignity Health network, Mercy San Juan Medical Center is dedicated to delivering high quality, compassionate care and access to Carmichae, CAl and nearby communities.
We are seeking a dynamic Nursing Director to guide our well rounded management team and provide expert clinical guidance and coordinate patient care quality initiatives.
Mercy San Juan Medical Center is a 370-bed Level 2 Trauma medical facility. Our Surgical Services includes 10 main operating rooms and 1 cardiac operating room, with a volume of approximately 650 cases monthly. We offer a broad range of surgical services to include the following:
Additionally, Mercy San Juan is a tertiary receiving center for Northern California offering advanced Stroke, Trauma, NICU and Surgical Services.
As our Director of Nursing, you will contribute by strategically planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining patient care programs, policies, and management systems across assigned departments and campus.
Every day you will lead the integration of services to ensure patient-centered care, drive quality and cost-effective improvements, and serve as a role model for ethical management. You will maintain direct operational and matrix management responsibility for all nursing care areas on your assigned campus, actively building strong relationships with physicians, employees, and community stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate exceptional leadership in patient care administration, collaborating effectively with medical staff and ancillary services. You will embody ethical principles, foster patient experience, and enhance staff engagement, ultimately achieving the objectives of campus operations and contributing to the division's CNO strategy.
