Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Assistant Nurse Manager, you will be a visionary leader, setting the standard for exceptional patient care and empowering our teams to achieve unparalleled clinical excellence.

  • Enforces high patient care standards. Contributes to the continuous improvement of customer satisfaction (e.g. makes decisions from a customer/patient perspective).
  • Promotes professional environment and career development as retention strategy.
  • Provides on-going feedback to employees regarding performance expectations.
  • Conducts employee performance evaluations on a timely basis so that at least 90% are complete by the due date.
  • Works collaboratively with the department director.
  • Prepares and directs patient-care assignments based upon patient acuity and competency of available personnel.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Registered Nurse with two (2) to three (3) years of work experience with demonstrated leadership potential
  • Registered Nurse: CA RN
  • Basic Life Support - CPR BLS
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support ACLS


Preferred

  • Critical RN Adult/Neonatal/Pediatric/Acute
  • Trauma Certified Registered Nurse
  • Certified Neuroscience RN
  • Certified Stroke Registered Nurse
