Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Director of Long Term Care, you will provide compassionate leadership and strategic oversight, profoundly impacting the quality of life and comprehensive care for residents within our long-term care facility.

Every day you will expertly manage daily operations, lead and mentor dedicated care teams, ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, and meticulously foster a nurturing and therapeutic environment tailored to the unique needs of each resident.

To be successful, you will demonstrate outstanding managerial skills, strong empathy, and a proactive, resident-centered demeanor, contributing significantly to the well-being, dignity, and satisfaction of our long-term care community.

  • Responsibility to LTC Services
  • Supervision of other long-term care departments as assigned
  • High degree of responsibility for resident and employee safety
  • Responsible, in part, for the financial control of personnel, supplies, and charges that must be made to patient’s account for service received.
  • Must assure that the unit meets standards set by the State Department of Health.
  • Provide tools for nursing staff to assess, monitor, and communicate changes in a resident’s condition that could impact the need for antibiotics

Job Requirements

Required

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing school of nursing and
  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing and
  • 3-5 years of experience in leadership
  • Registered Nurse: MN, upon hire and
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
