Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Switchboard Operator, you will serve as the crucial first point of contact, providing prompt, courteous, and highly skilled communication services to internal and external customers. You are central to ensuring seamless connectivity and information flow within our dynamic environment.

Every day you will expertly manage the general switchboard, answering, placing, and connecting a high volume of calls, while also providing accurate information related to our facility. Your responsibilities will extend to acting as an essential answering service, triaging calls with precision, and relaying critical messages to diverse populations.

To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong customer service orientation and demonstrate increasingly complex communication skills. Exceptional verbal clarity, active listening abilities, keen problem-solving acumen, and a steadfast commitment to professional service are crucial for managing high call volumes, accurately triaging inquiries, and ensuring efficient communication and dispatch services.
