Job Summary and Responsibilities

We are not currently accepting new graduate or new to speciality applications.   Our next posting period will be July 1, 2026 for an October 16, 2026 start date.  Positions can be found under National Resident RN (<12 months experience as an RN) or RN Transition/Fellowship (>12 months experience as an RN.

 

As a Clinical Nurse, you will be a central figure in our patient care team, delivering exceptional, compassionate care that truly makes a difference in our patients' lives.

Every day you will collaborate on comprehensive screenings, conduct critical risk assessments, provide vital preventative health education, and expertly coordinate care for diverse patient populations, leveraging technology to streamline processes. You'll ensure patients feel informed and at ease, patiently guiding them through instructions and addressing their concerns.

To be successful in this role, you will combine robust clinical knowledge and technological proficiency with genuine compassion, strong communication skills, and an adaptable approach to learning and patient-centered care.

  • Completes all assessments, admissions, transfers, shift assessments and discharge assessments within the time frames established by hospital policy.
  • Reassesses patient status as indicated.
  • Identifies psycho-social, spiritual, cultural, learning needs and discharge planning.
  • Identifies predictable patient problems, life threatening situations, low volume/high risk patient problems, and anticipates less predictable patient problems and initiates appropriate interventions.
  • Recognizes the relationship between physiological and environmental factors and their affect on the patient/family.
  • Identifies current patient/family coping mechanisms, support systems and their effectiveness.

Job Requirements

Required

  • 2 years of unit specific experience required, Surgical Services
  • California Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification required.
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
