Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Food Service Professional, you will prepare and distribute food safely and efficiently, maintaining quality, sanitation, and operational standards to support uninterrupted service for patients, staff, and visitors.

Every day you will prepare patient trays according to posted menus and individual preferences, collect used trays and dishes from patient areas, clean them using an automatic dishwasher, and return them to their proper storage locations.

To be successful in this role, you must enjoy helping others and enjoy a fast-paced, fun work environment.

  • Handles and prepares food in accordance with food safety regulations.
  • Communicate with nursing and the cooks to provide accurate & quality meal service to patients & residents.
  • Limited food preparation for café and patients, including therapeutic diets.
  • Answer department phone calls and respond to requests.
  • Operate the cash register and dish machine.
  • Assist with putting away freight & stocking of food in kitchenettes.

Job Requirements
